Tim took up the wand at the age of ten, and since then has been featured in hundreds of press and magazine articles, and appeared on over a hundred television shows internationally.
He’s owned a magic shop, published a national magic magazine, written for magic publications world wide, taught magic classes, consulted with actors for film and television, toured the world performing and lecturing to fellow magicians, been buried alive and even escaped from a wooden trunk in Melbourne’s Yarra River.

When Tim Ellis performs he doesn’t just tell jokes and do tricks, he involves the entire audience as he performs tricks that are so amazing they’ll be talking about them for years. Tim Ellis has been described as “crazy”, “hyperactive”, “hilarious”, “inspiring”, “unpredictable”, and “absolutely amazing!” In his Stage Magic Show he’s all that – and much, much more!
- ILLUSION SHOW
Together with his beautiful assistant Cassie, Tim offers a spectacular show unlike anything else on the market today. He levitates her on the tip of a broom stick, crushes her to 30 cms tall, or performs the hilarious, split second Houdini Trunk escape.
The comedy comes from the audience members Tim invites up on stage, who always end up looking like the stars of the show! A bowling ball appears from nowhere, ropes are cut and rejoined, audience members money is doubled, and a borrowed fifty dollar bill is signed, destroyed and restored in the most impossible location!
This show features a variety of music and astonishing tricks like ‘The Can Trick‘ (Take a look at the video clip below, you won’t believe your eyes!)
Tim also offers STROLLING MAGIC which can be added to a STAGE MAGIC performance as a package.
